1976 Porsche 911 · Targa · Driven 219,000 miles

This 1976 Porsche 911 S Targa starts, runs and drives beautifully. This Targa has had one owner since 2004, and representing the car is folder of service records performed at air cooled Porsche specialists Poudre Sports Car in Fort Collins, CO since that time.

Leakdown tests performed in February 2025 yield all good numbers. Everything works as it should. At 208,000 miles, Valve Clearances were adjusted, Heads retorqued, Chain Rails, Crank Seals, Oil Lines, Crank and Intermediate Shaft Seals, and Timing Covers were replaced. Alternator was replaced at 210,000 miles. Battery and Fuel Lines were replaced at 211,000 miles, while all Filters, Oil and Brake Fluid, along Spark Plugs, Cap & Rotor, and Oil Cooler hose were replaced in December at 219,000 miles.

While this air-cooled 911 certainly has been driven a fair number of miles, despite some dings and paint imperfections (pictured) the car shows well, is completely mechanically sorted, and drives like a dream.
