Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate someone who means so much to all of us. Our owner, our leader, and someone who has put so much time, heart, and hard work into making River North what it is today.

Jim, you’ve built more than a business. You’ve built a place where people come together, where families make memories, and where so many of us have had the opportunity to grow, work, and be part of something special.

We appreciate everything you do! Even the things that probably go unnoticed. The long days, the decisions, the countless hours, and the dedication you’ve given to this place and to the people around you.

So today, we hope you take a step back and realize just how much you are appreciated!!

Well folks… I’ve been hearing everyone talk about back-to-school season, and I guess being a puppy still means I have things to learn too!📚😂

But don’t worry, back-to-school season does NOT mean boating season is over! 🚤☀️🌊

I’ll be off having my own little school adventure, making new friends, getting lots of love, and probably being the teacher’s favorite. 😉🐾

Then it’s BACK TO THE BOATYARD for me! 🌊💙

So keep those boats in the water, keep enjoying those lake days, and save me a spot at the dock! I’ll be back before you know it. 🐶☀️

UPDATE: WINNING NAME HAS BEEN DRAWN. Congrats to Evan Goetler on his new Lake Koshkonong map custom made by Hesgard Hardwoods!!

I've known the Hesgard family for years and they are about as awesome as they come. Todd and Michelle Hesgard in particular, run Hesgard Hardwoods, which is where you can get custom made wooden 3D lake maps just like this Lake Koshkonong one.

They just announced these wooden maps are available for purchase at Pettit's Lakeview Campground and Bar, The Harbor at Newville, and River North Boatyard.

I got one hanging above our fireplace, but they look perfect hanging just about anywhere...And to help you out in getting one yourself, I'm going to buy another Lake Koshkonong map from Todd and give it away here to someone in the comments. Todd can also engrave a personal message on the back if you'd like!
