September 1, 2016 we made a life choice and took a gamble on ourselves and opened Forest Grove Auto Detail! In the beginning, we discovered that we had a lot to learn in a very short period of time and we made mistakes, but we learned from them! A lot of things were thrown at us that not only didn’t break us, they made us stronger!
Our very first day in business it was pouring down rain and we didn’t work on a single car!
Three months after opening the storm drains around our building backed up and flooded our shop. The day after Thanksgiving and we had 12 inches of water covering our shop floor!
When Covid hit in 2020 our company experienced a tremendous slowdown. However we hit the reset button and transformed our business model to adapt to the changing times and we became stronger because of our never wavering resolve!
We nearly ended this adventure because of being forced out of a location we had been at for over 8 years! But with the help of some generous friends we were able to press on at a new location! We had to find another shop after a few months and were ever so fortunate to land at the building we now operate out of!
We have so many people to think, including a supportive community, loyal, customers, and most importantly, we have had the opportunity to build relationships with the people who have worked with us!
I’ve included a collection of pictures showing the growth and changes that have been a part of our lives for the last 10 years! We look forward to the next 10 years!

This is how a swirl-free paint corrected finish should look! This Tahoe drives country roads and had deep scratches covering both sides! Six hours and 3 trips around with my machine polisher followed by a quality Carnauba paste wax helped turn this rig into a “like new” vehicle! Our quality is unmatched and you should feel the experience of our 5 star service!!

This is Angela!!! She came on board a few months ago to help get things moving, and to also support me after my hip replacement surgery! We are overjoyed with her performance, her attitude, and her work ethic!  I left her a very busy schedule and she took control of the business completely! Handling customers, getting work done, opening and closing etc. She has been a godsend and we’re grateful to have such a vivacious, confident and fun person to work with! She is an amazing part of Forest Grove Auto Detail and will be for a long time!

We are excited to announce the winner of our Community Giveaway!!Ashley Greaves received multiple nominations and we couldn’t think of a more deserving person!
Ashley and her husband Daniel have really been through some trying times. A few months back they took their beloved dog, Bok, to the vet for something routine and Bok unexpectedly passed away. A couple of weeks later their car was broken into and their belongings were stolen. As a result of the break in the interior became wet due to our rainy Oregon weather and broken glass is still present.
Ashley is 7 1/2 months pregnant with her first child and the pregnancy has also had complications, but through it all they have kept a positive spirit and a hopeful outlook!
We, as a company, truly believe in helping those in need! It’s part of our mission as community members and it’s in our company’s DNA!
We can only hope that this token of Goodwill can ease some of the burden that this family carries!
