We’re Mitch & Jalayne Miskov, the husband & wife team behind Speakeasy Automotive.
Mitch has always had a passion for taking things apart, understanding how they work, and rebuilding them better than before. Once he got his first car, that curiosity quickly turned into a love for cars, modifications, and performance. He built a career as a diesel technician, gaining years of hands-on experience, quality training, and certifications, all while continuing to build and modify his own vehicles. Eventually, that passion became the dream of owning a performance shop built by an enthusiast, for enthusiasts.
Jalayne comes from a different background as an ER trauma nurse with travel nursing experience, where years of working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments built a strong foundation in organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Supporting the dream of Speakeasy meant learning a whole new side of business, and today she handles bookkeeping, customer relations, and helps manage daily operations behind the scenes.
Together, we’re raising three awesome kids, running a business, and still finding time for the things we love - family, traveling, the racetrack, hiking, biking, and cooking from scratch.
Today marks a decade of marriage, and it felt like the perfect time to share a little more about who’s running this place. 😉
We’re incredibly grateful for our customers and everyone who has supported us along the way. Most of all, we’re grateful for where God has led us and trust Him to continue guiding what comes next.
