We are searching for an experienced auto technician to help our clients resolve issues with vehicle performance and drivability.

To be a successful auto technician, you should be focused on providing high quality service to clients as you help them identify, repair, and avert issues that may affect the performance or longevity of their vehicles. You should be thorough, reliable, honest, logical, and motivated.
Auto Technician Responsibilities:

Work with manager and other mechanics to diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles.
Performing test drivers, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exists and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.
Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations.
Using shop equipment as instructed, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
Must be knowledgeable on how to use scanning equipment/diagnostic scanners.
Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills.
Must be able to do All major services, such as; water pumps, timing belts and chains, motor and transmission swaps, etc.
Auto technician is responsible for providing his own tools and keeping a clean work space.
Auto Mechanic Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional education, certifications, or experience is generally preferred.
Must have PA State and Emissions License.
Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.

Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Must have own transportation.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must have Current and Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Must know how to complete mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacements, brake services, pre-delivery inspections and more. • Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services. • Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles. • Promote teamwork • Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
Basic Qualifications: • Valid and clean driver's license • Must be at least 18 years of age • No relocation is being offered for this position • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Must be able to pass a drug test upon hiring and to maintain position.
Preferred Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience • Previous formal automotive training Position Criteria: • Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others • Hard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics, such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork • Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry • Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines • Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
• Tools will not be needed, shop will supply.
• Must maintain a professional appearance.
