Parents, I am late posting information about tomorrows class at FBHS. Class is Monday thru Thursday from 8:30-4:00. We will be coming in thru the cafeteria entrance , you will see mr in the sidewalk. FBHS is feeding Hall Co so breakfast and lunch is being served at the high school. If your child doesn't want lunch there they will need to bring a lunch or you can come and take your child to lunch. There is no where safely for your child to walk to get lunch. Nope they can not walk down Hog Mountain Rd to McDonalds , there are no sidewalks.

Parents, when you make your child's appt for their driving test with DDS you will get a confirmation email from them, answer the email. If you don't respond within either 24 or 48 hours DDS will cancel the appt and you get to start over.

This information is for the class at Bethlehem Christian Academy. Class hours are 8:30-4:00 , Monday thru Thursday. This is the thirty hour class that will suffice for Joshua’s Law. We do offer the behind the wheel ,that is done and scheduled in separately.

The students have lunch everyday from 11:30-12:15. The students will need to bring a lunch. You are also welcome to drop off lunch or take your child to lunch. There is not a place for our students to walk safely and get food. If you would like to take your child to lunch please have them back by 12:15 so we can get back to class.

We ask that parents pay Monday or Tuesday morning the week that class starts. The class time breakdown for the courses as follows: in person Joshua’s Law 30 hours course is $100.00 and the Behind the Wheel 6 hours course is $425.00. If you are taking both it’s $525.00

Alpha Omega accepts cash, check ( made payable to Alpha Omega Driving ), charge, Zelle , Venmo and Cash App.

If you are using Venmo - @ Carolyn-Oliva. It may ask for the last four of my phone number 3687. If you get Carolyn not drivers ed you have accidentally typed Carolyn OLIVIA. She is not me and she will keep your money.

We will meet in the Cafe on the BCA campus. On Monday morning @ 8:10 you will see Carolyn on the sidewalks guiding everybody into the correct place.

Parents have been awesome about letting us know that their child can not attend for whatever reason. It has allowed for spaces to open up for other students.

SUMMER CLASS - FLOWERY BRANCH HS - JUNE 1-4

Information for class at Flowery Branch High School. Class hours are 8:30-4:00, Monday thru Thursday. This is the thirty hour classroom part of Joshua’s Law. This class is classroom only and does not include the state’s 6hrs Behind the Wheel. The Behind the Wheel is scheduled separately.

The students have lunch everyday from 11:30-12:15. Because there isn’t a sidewalk or a safe way for students to walk to lunch, students will need to bring a lunch. Parents are welcome to drop off lunch or take their child to lunch. If you would like to take your child to lunch, please have them back by 12:15 so we can get back to class. Books, paper and pens will be provided for class participation and note taking.

***On the first day of class, students will be given important paperwork that MUST be SIGNED (by the student and parent) and RETURNED before the student is given credit for attending the class.*** Without this paperwork, the student cannot get their license.

Parents and students,

Carolyn, Chuck and I are taking a few days off beginning tomorrow Friday May 15, 2026. We are taking this break before what is the mad summer rush of Driver's Ed. Carolyn and I will be monitoring the FB page for your messages as well as emails, text messages and VMs. We will answer all of your messages sometime during the week. We will continue to register your student drivers for the 30hr Joshua's Law summer classes as well as scheduling them for the state's six hours Behind the Wheel training. We are currently scheduling the week of June 8 and 15 for the BTW six hours. We are also scheduling for later dates during the summer break as well as the fall.

All five of the 30hr Summer 2026 Joshua's Law classes at Flowery Branch High School and Bethlehem Christian Academy have room. Only one of the five classes is nearing capacity. The state allows 40 students per class. We have a total of four more classes including a second FBHS class June 1-4.
***Please refer to the April 19 post on this page for the class schedules, locations, dates and times and instructions on how to register for the 30hr JL class as well as the state's six hours BTW.***

We will begin BTW training again on Tuesday May 26, 2026. As always, thank you for your interest in Alpha Omega Driving Academy and trusting us with your student drivers.

DATES, LOCATIONS AND REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER 2026, 30hr JOSHUA'S LAW IN PERSON CLASSES AND BEHIND THE WHEEL TRAINING .

Parents and students,

Thank you for your interest and loyalty over the years to have Alpha Omega Driving Academy (AODA) train your student drivers. Carolyn and I wish to thank the administrators at Flowery Branch High School and Bethlehem Christian Academy for allowing us to continue teaching the Joshua's Law classes on their campuses all these years. This summer we will continue to host the Joshua’s Law 30hr classes at Flowery Branch High School (FBHS) and Bethlehem Christian Academy (BCA) in Winder.

Student registration for the Joshua's Law (JL) classes is still on a first come first serve basis for the summer classes. The state allows as many as 40 students per classroom.*** We have made arrangements with FBHS to have two classrooms available for the Joshua's Law class meeting June 1-4 at the high school.*** By doing this, we will be able to accommodate a total of 80 students for the JL class meeting at FBHS during the week June 1-4. Students may attend the 30hr classroom portion of JL without a driver's permit.

Carolyn and I have been receiving texts, VMs and emails for the summer class schedule for several weeks. We want to thank you for your patience during this time as we worked with school administrators to finalized the summer of 2026 JL class dates, locations and times. To be fair to all of our students and parents, until all the JL class dates and locations are finalized, we do not start sign up sheets or take reservations for the classes.

The state's six hours Behind the Wheel (BTW) training portion of JL is scheduled separately. We are currently and have been scheduling students for the BTW training. We need a total of three days with each student to complete the state's six hours BTW portion. ***To take part in the BTW training each student must have a current learner's permit or license.***
***To schedule the state's 6hrs BTW with Alpha Omega Driving Academy (AODA), call us. We do not schedule the BTW by email or text.***

SUNDAY (NO TRAINING)

You will receive an invite to the class from Alpha Omega Driving Academy.
Class rosters are filled on first come first serve basis.
***The 30hr Joshua's Law classroom portion is classroom only; no driving.***

THE STATE ALLOWS STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE 30HR JOSHUA'S LAW CLASS WITHOUT HAVING A LICENSE PERMIT

We are currently scheduling the BTW training through the summer break. If you wish to have your student driver also drive with AODA, please do not wait until the Joshua’s Law classes begin. By registering now for the BTW training, it will ensure your student driver is trained sooner than later.
