From the equipment we operate to the people we work alongside, safety should always be part of the job. This week was a reminder to slow down, stay aware, look out for one another, and make it home safely. ❤️
Because at the end of the day, the most important thing we bring home from the field is ourselves.

🌱Lets Talk Co-op 🌽 - Check this out! 👇

🌞In the Summer of 1976 our local FS Co-op filmed a television commercial at our current Board President’s (Brad Emel) C**n Creek Farms in Sullivan, Illinois. His grandfather, Stanley Emel (1932-2015) is the farmer in this video. At least one current Sullivan FS employee has a grandfather in this video.

A couple stories heard:
❗The director was from New York and had never seen corn before. He instructed his assistants to "remove those nasty yellow things." That idea was quickly stopped when the entire FS group said "No, that's the actual CORN EAR!."
❗The director attached a tree branch to his bucket truck to simulate being in a tree.
