We have obtained approval to begin reconstruction of our front driveway with work beginning Monday (Oct 5). Construction will include some updates we anticipate will make your entry and exit at Big Sq**rt Car Wash much easier and safer (especially for those pulling trailers). Construction and concrete curing time is anticipated to be one week so this driveway will be closed during this time. Rear driveway will still be open as well as the adjoining driveway with our friends at Trinity Streetrods. We realize that this has been an inconvenience and we appreciate your business and patience during this process.

We had a little “excitement” this afternoon but good news is that everyone is ok. Thanks to those that notified us of the incident. Thanks Bob Knight of Trinity Streetrods for helping us get the “much too tall truck and trailer” out of harms way. Thanks Duffy Chevallier for getting to the car wash so quickly to assess the damage and planning the reconstruction of bay 1.

Fortunately, we are able to remain open but will have one less wash bay until repairs are completed.

Last week we experienced something that had never happened in our 40+ years in the car wash business. We just didn’t have sufficient water volume to deliver the kind of service we want for our customers. If you experienced any issues during this last weekend with the lack of water pressure for your wash, foam brush not having the usual amount of soap etc. we sincerely apologize and wanted everyone to know the problem has now been resolved.

We want to thank all our customers for your patience and understanding.

Due to the extreme cold temperatures and snow/ice, we will be closing temporarily Friday January 23. We will remain closed until our customers can safely wash again. We hope to re-open sometime next week when weather conditions improve. Hope everyone stays warm and safe from this winter storm.

Don’t know why it took us 40+ years to help solve an issue! The foam brush hose and spray wash hose will occassionaly tangle and get in the way of each other (especially on windy days). We hope our new retainer hooks will assist with this inconvenience. Next time this happens during your wash, just tuck the hose on the hook.
