👉 Here’s a quick breakdown:

🔹 1st–3rd digits: Where it was made & manufacturer
🔹 4th–8th digits: Engine type, body style, and features
🔹 9th digit: Security check (used to verify the VIN is legit)
🔹 10th digit: Model year (this one’s the big one 👇)

➡️ Example:
A = 2010
B = 2011
C = 2012
D = 2013
E = 2014
F = 2015
G = 2016
H = 2017
J = 2018
K = 2019
L = 2020
M = 2021
N = 2022
P = 2023
R = 2024

🔹 11th digit: Assembly plant
🔹 Last 6 digits: Unique serial number for your vehicle
