Shop Rats

Shop Rats We all work in the shop for General Motors. We share an interest in Rat Rods, Hot Rods, Custom cars, trucks and old rusty Jalopy's.

Preferably nothing newer than the 1950's. We were all having a conversation at work one night about always wanting an older ride. We joked about starting a car club and if we did, what would we call it? Within minutes the name Shop Rats was mentioned. What better name could a few guys who work in the shop with an interest in the Rod Culture come up with? Shop Rats was born and all three were on th

e hunt for some old trucks. Within a matter of a couple months we all found what we wanted. Mike found a 1948 Studebaker, Bill Hunt found a 1952 Chevrolet and Bill Parker found a 1947 Chevrolet. The rest is history in the making.
