At A&L Homes, we believe in transparency. We know purchasing a home is one of life’s biggest investments, so we’d like to share what customers can expect during the home-buying and installation process.
When purchasing a home, customers are informed before the sale that it typically takes approximately 6–8 weeks AFTER the home is set before it is ready to move-in. This timeframe allows for all finish work, utility connections, inspections, trim work, drywall finishing, and any repairs or adjustments that may arise during transportation. Weather and scheduling with licensed contractors can also affect this timeline.
Unfortunately, transportation or installation can occasionally result in items that need to be repaired or replaced. When that happens, we order replacement parts as quickly as possible and work diligently to complete everything correctly before handing over the keys. We believe our customers deserve a home that is finished properly—not one that is rushed simply to meet a date.
We understand that waiting for your new home can be frustrating, and we genuinely empathize with that excitement. Our goal has always been to communicate openly, resolve issues promptly, and stand behind the homes we sell.
Many people don’t realize that A&L Homes doesn’t get paid until your home has been delivered. We want our customers in their homes just as much as they do. Our goal is to complete every project as efficiently as possible while making sure everything is finished properly and safely.
