We know this a bit premature and we will mention yet again in weeks ahead, but we have both some local friends and a few from across the mountain in Poplar NC, that suggested we get it out early, in case anyone working on a project they may want to get out in a couple weeks. But so long as weather permits, Saturday May 16, afternoon late; we are going to be having our very first Saturday night "Cruise In" here at the restaurant; in order to give folks a chance to get out of the house and socialize RESPONSIBLY outdoors, talk cars, and all while showing off a bit. This something we've wanted do since last year, but now going try make a weekly Saturday night thing if people show interest. We will utilize both our gravel overflow parking area to the side, as well as the entire grassy area adjacent to the tall trees, therefore leaving our entire paved parking area out front for customers we ask, who simply just want dine, as well as might want to check out everyone's ride afterwards. Anyone who wants come, feel free bring a lawn chair and know that social distancing still strongly encouraged obviously, as well as no large groups of more than ten people gathering together. Which should not be an issue outdoors for this small event. We here at the restaurant are only seating 50% of our overall dining capacity in order to keep folks distanced, so we ask that everyone PLEASE be responsible and respect others space as you would your own, utilizing simple common sense regarding CDC suggested health practices. So come out for a couple hours roughly between 5:00pm - 8:00pm, sit around and talk cars, enjoy the comradery, listen to some groovy old tunes, and of course; have a burger, BBQ or a milkshake and maybe we can grow this Saturday night event throughout the summer into fall as guidelines and tensions hopefully fade.
