Those that know me or have bought a car from me in the past 8 months know that I cannot stop talking about how we are expecting a baby girl. Baby Rosario will be here any day now!
7 days ago I sold a very nice GMC Acadia to Dave and Denise Hamby. These two people are two of the nicest, sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Today, Denise surprised me at the dealership by bringing the baby a beautiful, hand made, crochet blanket and two adorable tye-dye onesies. Tye-dye, of course, to match Denise and Dave's daily fit, lol.
I swear, I teared up. I couldn't help but reach out and give Denise a big hug. The Hamby's are amazing people.
Their wonderful gesture is one of the reasons why I go by the whole DOING IT BETTER mentality. I have been truly blessed.
When I decided to switch careers in my mid-30's, I didn't know what to expect. I have found a profession that I love that allows me to interact with this community that I am such a fan of, while still providing a great life for my growing family.
In the past year I have ran into people that I've sold cars to at the grocery store, my kid's school, dentist's office, my chiropractor's office, the movies, my wife's OBGYN, Costco, gas stations, etc. While I remember each and every one of my customers, what warms my heart is that they remember me. They remember conversations we had and what I had going on in my life that I shared with them at that time. I can see in their faces that they are as genuinely happy to see me as I am to see them.
Being able to serve the people of Hamilton County has been a blessing. A blessing I will forever be thankful for and a blessing that I hope I get to enjoy for a long, long time.

But, enough with the sentimental stuff. I've got to get back to DOING IT BETTER and sell some damn cars!!!
