🚗💨 The future of dirt track racing isn't just happening on the racetrack—it's happening on computer screens, laser scanners, and 3D printers.

From engine builders digitally analyzing intake manifolds and cylinder heads to chassis manufacturers refining aerodynamic body panels, 3D scanning and 3D printing are transforming how race cars are designed, built, and improved.

Race teams are using these technologies to create custom parts, improve setup consistency, develop better body support systems, and even enhance driver safety through custom seat inserts and ergonomics. Manufacturers are leveraging digital tools to accelerate product development, improve quality control, and bring better products to racers faster than ever before.

In our latest blog, we take a deep dive into how these technologies are changing dirt racing at every level—from local Saturday night racers to leading manufacturers across the industry.

📖 Read the full article and discover how digital technology is helping racers find speed, consistency, and safety.

What 3d Printed item do you use at the track that has helped your race team? Personally, I love the ergonomic handles for my multi-head siper and the lug nut holders, so I'm not chasing the lug nuts all over the decking. Post some pictures in the comments, and feel free to tag whoever made them.

Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic sends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Kyle Busch. We just posted a new tech blog covering how and why to buff a dirt racing tire, including equipment recommendations, heat control, sharpening tread edges, storage tips, and common mistakes racers make during the process.

Blog: https://www.hoosiermidatlantic.com/blog/tech-tips-from-the-pros-1/how-and-why-to-buff-a-dirt-racing-tire-51

Our goal with posts like this is simple: help racers understand their tires better and make better decisions at the track.

Comments are still ON because we want this page to be a place where racers can ask questions, share ideas, and learn from each other. That said, if your goal is just to be a keyboard troll or start arguments, you will be banned from the page.

We’re here to help people make their tire work better for them.

If you’re fighting a tire issue, unsure about wear patterns, or trying to improve consistency, feel free to send us a DM or call the shop and speak with one of our staff.

Also, just to clarify for anyone new here:
We do NOT manufacture the Hoosier tire. We are a regional distributor working directly with racers every week.

Good luck to everyone racing this week and stay safe at the track! 🏁

We’re saddened to share that Tyler Ritchey — a 33-year-old from Woodbury, Pa., who beat the odds to become a winning Dirt Late Model driver at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway after suffering a paralyzing injury at the age of 18 — died Monday night at a hospital in Johnstown, Pa., from health complications that struck him last week.
