Dana Webb, Founder of Car Specialties, Ltd received the Civitan "Citizen of The Year Award," in February 2012 for the 2011 year. Civitan awards an individual each year from Findlay/Hancock County Regional Area for their community work in working with organizations or individuals in need.

If you have dried or "baked-on" bugs, scrubbing too aggressively with traditional tools can permanently scratch your glass or car paint. Instead, follow these steps to dissolve the residue safely!

Rinse First: Spray off loose dirt and grime with a hose so it doesn't create micro-scratches when you scrub.

Apply the Right Cleaner: Use a specialized, pH-balanced automotive bug cleaner.

Soak Method: For heavy splatter, spray the cleaner on a microfiber towel and press it directly onto the mess to let the chemicals emulsify the bug guts.

Wipe and Protect: Wipe the softened debris away, and consider applying a spray sealant or a ceramic coating afterward, which gives the glass a hydrophobic finish that makes bugs easier to wash off next time.
