Another 3rd place finish in the Sportsman. Was running around 14/15 in the B-Mod. Got some minor sheet metal damage on a restart and was told to pull in due to crew member touching the car under caution. Another solid night again in both cars.

With football season in full swing, not sure we will make it out anymore this season. If not, finished the year with 3 straight 3rd place finishes in the sportsman. In the B-Mod fought a very tight car especially on a tacky track but made big strides since the beginning of the season and learned alot.

Race report from 08/22

B-mod - 31 cars showed up. 8th to 4th in the Heat. Started 10th in the feature. Made it up to 7th at one point. With 6 laps to go drove over something on the track that bent the center link into the frame and locked up the steering. Luckily didn't hit anything or anyone hit us. Good speed all night.

Sportsman - 8th to 5th in the heat and 4th to 3rd the feature. After a slow start was the second fastest car in the track at the end behind winner Lee Stuppy. Congrats to Lee on another win.

Race report from I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park on Wednesday night special.

B-mod - 32 cars showed up. Heat race started 2nd and finished 3rd after leading the first few laps. Started 10th in the feature and was running top 10. Went in a little too hot on the restart with 3 to go and hit the inside wall ending our night.

Sportsman - 6th to 5th in the heat and 5th to 4th in the feature. Caught the 2nd and 3rd place cars with 2 to go but couldn't get around them on a bottom dominated track.

Picking up more speed each week.

Highlight of the night was racing Kenny Schrader the first few laps of the B-Mod heat race.

Race results from I-55 Federated Auto Parts Race on July 18.

Pulled double duty and it was an eventful evening. During hot laps in the Sportsman went to shift to high gear and the shifter snapped off. In the B-Mod heat race I jumped the cushion and hit the wall breaking a shock and cut the rf tire down. Regardless, we got everything fixed on both cars and ended up with a solid night.

B-Mod - Heat started 9th and made it up to 5th when I hit the wall and the tire expired on the last lap. Feature 1 started 13 and finished 9th.

Sportsman - Finished 3rd in my heat. Started 6th in the feature and finished 4th. Great side by side battle for last 5 laps with Ryan Gegg for the 3rd position that he eventually got. Really fun race!

Also sold a bunch of tee shirts. Thanks to everyone that bought one.
