Travel Advisory for September 2, 2025- Hazen, Fernley, and Lovelock Nevada.

The Nevada Highway Patrol will be assisting in the safe movement of a “Super Load” tomorrow 9/2/2025.

This movement will be traveling through Fernley, Nevada and then between Fenley, Nevada and Lovelock, Nevada in both directions on I80.

The load (a transformer) will impact travel on US50 Alt. (between Hazen and Fernley Nevada), US95 Alt.(Fernley, Nevada), and I80 between Fernley and Lovelock Nevada starting around 6:30 a.m..

The load will travel at approximately 12 miles per hour.

The loads final destination is off of the I80 Nightingale exit (exit 65). However, because this load is so large it will need to travel eastbound on I80 past the exit to safely turn around and approach the Nightingale exit (exit 65) from the westbound side.

The load weighs approximately 909,489 pounds. It is approximately 20 feet wide and 20 feet 3 inches tall with a length of 250 feet.

Please expect travel delays and plan accordingly.

One Workamper couple needed April 25th to October 15th .
Your hours will be Sunday- Tuesday 9-5 All hours are paid at $13.00/hour plus a free FHU site ( 30 & 50 ), Free Laundry & discounted propane.
Office duties include: reservations, phones, emails, guest relations, guest check-ins, and light bathroom/laundry room maintenance. Computer experience is required.
Outside duties include: escorting all guests to their sites, mowing, trimming, watering, site clean-up, general repairs/maintenance, and light bathroom/laundry room maintenance. All employees must be able to work well within a team, have a positive can-do attitude, and provide a positive guest experience.
