Hello everyone! Please read this post in full for important information.

In the coming weeks, Mikol Garage will be undergoing some changes. It is the end of a chapter for the business but a start to another. An email will be sent to all customers with an email saved on file, and I will personally be making calls to inform customers about upcoming changes.

As of 1/1/2026, we will no longer be offering auto repairs at the Grandview Road location. Unfortunately the lease at this location is expiring with no option for renewal. It has been an outstanding 4 1/2 years serving you here, but as the saying goes, all great things must come to an end.

My business will be undergoing a change of branding. I will no longer be operating as Mikol Garage, instead the business will be known as My Mobile Auto Tech. I will still be offering auto repairs and maintenance with the same level of quality and attention to detail as before, but I will be fully mobile meaning repairs will be carried out at your location. This may be an advantage to some as you will no longer need to have your vehicle towed into the shop or have a ride to pick up/drop off your vehicle. You will be able to receive the same quality repairs on your vehicle but from the comfort of your home or workplace.

With this change of course for the business, I wanted to add a twist to my services. Along with offering mobile repairs and maintenance, My Mobile Auto Tech will be fully equipped for tire repairs and replacements at your location. This means we can mount & balance tires, source new wheels and tires, install/replace/program TPMS sensors, and even repair most punctured flat tires all at your location. The business will be the first of its kind within the county to offer fully mobile tire mounting and balancing, and with your help we can make the new business widely known throughout our community.

Along with tire services, I will be offering roadside assistance including fuel delivery, key lockout/unlock services, and jump starts.

The phone number will remain the same and you will still be assisted with the same level of quality and courtesy from my small business. We will be offering services in Whatcom & Skagit counties for the time being.

I am in the process of getting branding changed over to the new business name along with a website, social media accounts, etc. so you may see less posts here but keep your eye out for me and the new page! For all of you who have had me service your vehicle throughout the past few years, sharing posts from and leaving a review on My Mobile Auto Tech’s pages will help bump start the business tremendously. I look forward to continuing to serve you all and appreciate your support as I open this new chapter of business! Thank you all!

From grime to shine, this timing cover off of a 3.6L Pentastar engine is cleaner than your mother’s fine china! 🍽️✨

Our long time customer brought in their 2019 Dodge Challenger with less than 85,000 miles on the odometer. Their main complaint? Engine leaking oil from an undetermined location. After raising the vehicle and removing a few components to get a better view, we determined the timing chain cover was leaking on the left and right hand side of the engine. The customer approved repairs and we got right to work removing components to access the culprit of the leaks. We cleaned all removed components, applied sealant per manufacturer’s recommendation, installed new gaskets and seals and reassembled. Fresh fluids installed, no leaks present, and the customer is ready to put many more trouble-free miles on their ride! 🚗

September 11, 2001, 24 years ago today, our nation suffered one of the most traumatic events in history. At Mikol Garage, we want to thank all citizens and first responders who put others’ lives before their own and remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost in this horrific disaster. We may all have different opinions about many current national and global events, but this tragedy is one we should all agree about. Please take a moment out of your day to give thanks to our nation’s heroes who have shaped our country into what it is today.

This shop project is finally reassembled and ready to hit the road, but there is still fine-tuning to be done as well as more parts and pieces needed before I can call it finished.
