It all started so quick. I, Tabitha, had been working in the chiropractic field for about 14 years & lost my job unexpectedly in early April 2009. What a coincidence, it was the same week as an IHRA national event at Rockingham Dragway so I had a few days to digest the next steps. Robbie said he had always wanted to open a parts business but he was in the telephone/splicing field & at the time, cellphones hadn't completely taken over the 🌎 yet. We instantly went to searching for a decent location, setting up a business within the State of NC, & getting business vendors setup. Robbie Draughon, Robert Draughon, & myself did telephone work during the day & then clocked in for 2nd shift getting a location ready to open within a month & half with a planned opening date of June 1st. WE DID IT & here we are 17 years later still kicking!!! I won't say it's all been gravy during those years but challenges are what makes you successful. I couldn't have made it this far without those 2 Draughon men behind me every step of the way so today I say THANK YOU BOTH & I LOVE YOU!!!
Thank you to our locally customers over the past 17 years! I hope we have 17+ more years of providing you with your "go fast" parts. I truly appreciate being your "parts lady" & hiding how much 💰 you spend on racing from your significant other! 🤣🤣
