Get your tires ready for WINTER!

Do you know if your tires look like the one in this video–good on the outside but bad on the inside?

This is a good example of a lack of rotation and improper alignment and can cause issues when driving on winter road conditions.

The good news is that we can help prevent this from happening to your tires!

Just bring your tires into The Grease Pig, and we’ll do a FREE tire inspection and pressure check for your vehicle.

We’ll let you know what your tires need to keep you safe in the rain, snow, and ice.

Stop by either of our locations today, and make sure your vehicle is winter weather ready!

20,000 miles overdue for an oil change?! 😳

Yep. And you know what?

We’re not here to judge.

A U of A student recently came in for a fluid check, and our crew discovered the car was about 20,000 miles overdue for an oil change.

That’s why we do what we do.

We see a LOT of college students at The Grease Pig, and many of them are taking care of a vehicle on their own for the first time. Nobody hands you a manual explaining when to change your oil, why your fluids matter, or what that squealing belt is trying to tell you.

So we’ll show you.

Our FREE courtesy inspections help us catch things like:

🔧 Belts that are worn or cracking
💧 Fluids that are low
🛢️ Oil that needs changing
🛞 Tire issues
👀 And other potential problems we spot along the way

And if we find something? We’ll explain what’s going on and why it matters.

No judgment. No making you feel bad because you didn’t know.

We just want you to understand your vehicle a little better, keep up with the maintenance it needs, and most importantly—stay SAFE on the road.

So whether you’re a U of A student learning this stuff for the first time or you’ve been driving for 40 years and just lost track of that oil change…

Bring it to The Grease Pig. We’ll get you taken care of. 🐗🔧

🎥 WHERE’S MIKE?!? 👀

We’re over here working through lunch because The Grease Pig is BUSY…

Meanwhile, somebody spotted Mike at the Wendy’s next door. 😂🍔

He claims he wasn’t lost, even though Will had to go find him.🤣

Time to get back to work!

All jokes aside, we’re grateful to stay busy—and even more grateful for the crew that keeps things moving around here. 💪🐗

But Mike… seriously. We’ve got cars waiting. 😆😉

Talk about passion—she’s serious! 😂

What can we say? Our crew is passionate about keeping people SAFE on the road.

So heed her warning…if your brakes are GRINDING, don’t ignore it. 🚨

Grinding can mean your brake pads are severely worn and metal is making contact where it shouldn’t be. Keep driving on them, and you could be looking at more damage—and a much bigger repair bill.

Bring your car into The Grease Pig ASAP, and let our crew check those brakes and get you safely back on the road. 🔧🚗

30 years is a long time to know a customer.

When you work in an auto shop long enough, you don’t just work on cars.

You get to know the people driving them.

In this reel, Big Mike talks about a customer he’s known for around 30 years—a customer who became almost like a dad to him.

And that’s a part of this job people probably don’t think about very often.

The relationships are a big part of it.

Customers come back year after year. You see different cars come and go. You hear about their families. Before long, you’re working on their kids’ cars too.

And somewhere along the way, they stop feeling like just another vehicle on the schedule.

Big Mike has a good heart, and his customers know it.

It’s why people come back to see him year after year. It’s why families trust him with their loved ones’ vehicles. And it’s why the children of this particular customer still make a point to say hi to Mike when they bring a vehicle into town for an oil change.

That’s one of the pretty cool parts of being a neighborhood auto shop for 25 years.

You don’t just get to take care of people’s cars.

You get to know the people inside them. ❤️
