Meet Racquel, our general manger at 5 Star Express Car Wash in Boone! With nearly 11 months on the job, Racquel has brought her passion for people and dedication to excellence to every aspect of her role.
When asked what she enjoys most about her position, Racquel shared, “I really love the people—my team, especially. They’re young, ambitious, and constantly learning, whether it’s responsibility, respectability, or customer service. Seeing them grow and knowing I’m helping create an environment where they can thrive is so rewarding.”
Racquel’s commitment to her team goes hand in hand with her drive to deliver exceptional experiences for customers. She takes pride in leading by example and ensuring that her team goes the extra mile. “Whether it’s walking a customer to the mat wash station, running inside for clean towels, or making sure the equipment is running perfectly, we make customer service our top priority. That’s what sets us apart,” she explained.
Racquel also highlighted the importance of teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment. “We all follow the same standards and respect each other, which creates an atmosphere where everyone feels valued. It’s about being in it together, and that’s what makes Five Star such a great place to work and visit.”
