1965 Mustang getting all the maintenance and upgrades! We did new Axle seals, serviced the rear differential, digital gauges, air-conditioning, power steering, upgraded radiator, electric fans with temperature control, thermostat, hoses, Radio, & speakers.

Good morning!! So today we will be reinstalling the Transmission with a new BOP plate adapter for this 327 and TH350. Hopefully we’re running and driving today, we shall see!

Cool Street Rod that we hauled in. Customer states “It doesn’t move, I think the Transmission is Bad, and it’s overheating.”
First problem, identified upon inspection the Transmission Bellhousing was separated from the back of the block by 3/8 of an inch on the passenger side, and over tightened on the driver side, which snapped of ears on the Bellhousing and had the wrong Bellhousing adapter. Not all SBC blocks are the same. This particular set up needs a BOP adapter, to mate the TH350 transmission to the block. We will also weld on new ears to the transmission. Additionally, the torque converter was no longer seated due to the mismatched set up.
Second problem, customer had a 1,500 CFM SPAL fan installed and a 195 degree thermostat installed. So we will upgrade him to a 3,400 CFM fan, a 180 degree thermostat, and a coolant flush.

Getting Cannonball Ready! 🏎️💨

We’ve got a buddy’s Lamborghini in the shop today for some quick pre-rally TLC before it heads out on the Cannonball Run.

Here’s what we’re tackling:
Carbon Fiber Repair: Re-mounting and securing a cracked carbon fiber piece using panel bond after a minor car show incident.

Wheel Care: Fixing up some curb rash on those custom wheels to get them looking fresh and road-ready.

No job is too big or small to make sure this ride is locked in, looking sharp, and ready for the long drive ahead.
