Razor's Edge MX Learn to ride on the "Edge"! Southwest Iowa’s only full-time practice facility. Your safety is our #1 priority. We offer not one, but two practice tracks.

Designed with the rider’s safety in mind, the jumps are not peaked and the landings are rounded. While safety is a priority, the track layout still offers a wide variety of obstacles and design layouts that will challenge and improve riders of all skill levels. The MX track is ¾ mile long with doubles, rhythm sections, whoops, rollers, table tops, step ups and a triple. If you buy an annual membership or 4 days per week of open riding for a daily fee. Call for hours. We are unique to the local MX industry. We have an indoor restroom/changing facility complete with shower located in the white office trailer at the track. If you are down for a few days we will lock your bike and equipment in our shop. Also, if you need to wrench on your bike, the shop is available so you can get out of the elements.

We want to thank Mark Stice and Susan Stice for their help this weekend as well as Josh McMullen and Bella McMullen!! Their help makes race prep and race day a lot easier for us!! And thanks to everyone who came out today. Fun day! And of course, thanks to Kent and Alex Taylor and crew for running a great program with Great Plains Vintage Motocross ! Special thanks go out to the Shenandoah Ambulance Service! Its wonderful to have such a dedicated group of medical professionals who will share their Sunday watching over our riders!!

Hello Great Plains Vintage Motocross racers and fans! We are a week away from the October 18th GPVMX race at Razor's Edge MX . Gates will be open Saturday from noon until dark for campers. Sunday gate opens at 7 am. $10.00 gate fee per person. 5 years old and under are free.

Food will be provided by Teeny Weeny Wagon. Their menu is attached! They will be adding breakfast items:
Breakfast dog
Biscuits and Gravy
Donuts or muffins
Coffee

We will have Razor's Edge Merch for sale as well.

Hello moto family! We didn't get the heavy rains that fell up north and to our west. While we did get a couple of inches, the track was ripped up ahead of all the rain. We will be open this Sunday the 4th at noon for practice. $30.00 per rider.

Thanks to Josh Inman & Jeremy Hanson for all the help the last couple of days and to all the flaggers, Emt and Paramedic and as always, Josh McMullen for running the start. Great Plains Vintage Motocross Kent, Alex and crew put on an awesome event. We had about every type of weather today except snow!! Thanks everyone for coming out and trusting the weather forecast!! See you all in October for the finale!

Good morning Great Plains Vintage Motocross !!! Quick weather update. Its going to be a great day for racing!! Temps in the 60's and minimal chances of showers early this morning before practice. I might even throw down a bit of water this morning because the radar forecast shows no rain and we didn't get any rain over night. Come enjoy one of the nicest days we have had for quite a while and also enjoy some Amos Fabulous Foods !!!

Great Plains Vintage Motocross Just a quick update: we have only had a couple of light showers. Forecast is for maybe .60 or .70 between now and Sunday at noon. I'm not watering due to forecast. That is about how much I would be adding in normal conditions anyway.
