Another Vehicle trailered up from Silver City this time. Farhad's nice 1988 Toyota 4runner. After several failed overhauls he had me rebuild the engine completely. It's nice to work on the old trucks. Simple and reliable if done correctly. Parts are sure getting tough to find for these great rigs but with some patience and some luck we have it all fixed up.

This week I'm working on a 1925 Ford Model T one ton truck for Paulie.
Rear axle seals and brakes. The rear brakes shoes are for parking only and were original or replaced long ago.
Have to drill the rivets out and just replace the linings. Since they were as asbestos linings I had to haz-mat up to replace them. Great working on the old timers from time to time.

Assembly of Pantera engine number two. First one ended up with a small hole rusted in the block in a oil galley and failed the pre start tests for oil and coolant pressures so a fresh 351 Clevleand block was obtained and we start over again.

Here is my friend Tims 1976 FJ-40 engine in for a major overhaul. A valve stuck and caused damage to the number 6 piston. It will be good as new in a few weeks and back on the trails around Phoenix.
