2001, 2008 Subaru Forester EJ 25 motor that is notorious for head gasket issues. This is one sure tell time that you have a head gasket low coolant, very dirty cooling system oil leaking in with the antifreeze. This client contacted me upon chatting out his vehicle. I found his AC compressor started failing and is making a bad noise. He has 108,000 miles on a 2008 Subaru Forester and I did my routine check and confirmed the failing head gasket, valve grinding, timing belt and components replacement, the whole sha-bang.
Luckily, I was working on the side of the road that day, and he saw me eye👀his car down when he drove by. He parked at his house and walked a few blocks to come talk to me, and that led to saving his car that unfortunately he just got recently but fortunately I am repairing it for him to run for 20 more years.
Support your local mechanics, engine, rebuild preventative maintenance. Take care of your sheeet or it will break buying something newer is only gonna be more problematic and less cost-effective I recommend getting any extended warranty if you are planning on buying a vehicle on anything newer than 2021. If you are going to outright purchasing a vehicle from the owner, do not get something newer than 2020 say give a vehicle a decade or recess to make sure they can make it to 300,000 miles with no severe repairs . Research the reliability.
drop the cash fix your vehicle and do your research on brands year makes and models. And always reach out to ask questions you if you don’t know much about the vehicle contact me at 651-278-0705 Doc Brown automotive LLC.
