Happy Thanksgiving from snowy Minnesota! ❄️
Yep… first real snow of the season and I’m already missing those warm summer days at the car shows. The kind of days where you’re standing next to a vintage beauty thinking, ‘Man… this thing is older than me but somehow has fewer dents.’ 😅

I’m thankful for every classic car I get to bring back to life, every sunny Saturday spent talking shop, and every owner who trusts me with their pride and joy.

But today? I’m just as grateful to be inside, warm, surrounded by family, good food, and zero ice to slip on.

We pulled this dent out so smooth even the paint said, “Thanks, Gary.” 💪

She’s shiny, she’s straight, and she’s struttin’ outta here like a new truck again.

Hey there, I’m Gary Carlson, owner and lead technician here at Carlson PDR.

But I do diagnose dents like one. 😉

I take real pride in making vehicles look new again — like the damage never even happened. It’s more than just fixing dents for me; it’s about restoring pride in something you care about.

Well, I’ve had a few cars in my life… okay, more than a few. Each one had its own personality — some ran like a dream, others made me question my life choices. But there’s just something about getting under the hood, figuring it out, and bringing a machine back to life.

Some people go fishing to relax. I grab a wrench.

This week I had the chance to be at the Wichita Car Show, checking out some seriously jaw-dropping rides. 😎 From sleek classics to modern beasts, it was a feast for the eyes.

While I’ve been fixing hail damage and taking care of those pesky dents all over Wichita,

it’s always amazing to see the pride people take in their cars.

Nothing beats getting the perfect finish on a car and seeing the smile on the owner’s face!
