Today we looked at the brakes. Made a little progress, but now we wait for parts. AutoZone doesn't have part for this one. After short trip to the desert we decided to fix the orange paint.

Hey friends. This page is where I will photo document the rebirth of our 1943 Willys Military Jeep. The Jeep was purchased 8/11/2022. We intend to bring it back to life for use as a weekend play toy. I will do everything possible to make it as original as I can. However the end goal is not to be a show piece. It will be used and driven.

Here's what I know so far. The Jeep has all original running gear. The motor know as the Go Devil is also original. The last time it was registered was 1973. The previous owner said his father parked it over 30 years ago and until now it's untouched. When my buddy and I went to pick it up, we added gas and a battery. She fired right up and sounded great. Frankie drove the little Jeep about 5 mile to my home. She ran and drove great.
But she didn't stop so good.

We are making a list and will update this page every time there is progress. Stay tuned!
