What impressed me the most was how many nice things they said about the parallel twin motor Suzuki is using in the VStrom 800, the GSX-8S, the 8R, the 8T, and the GSX-S8TT.

They say things like "...strong off the bottom, rich through the midrange, and never desperate for revs. Peak numbers matter less here than the quality of delivery, and the delivery is excellent."
and, "The engine has a rhythm and pulse that feels closer to Suzuki’s old 90-degree V-twins than most parallel designs. It idles with character, sounds genuinely good under load, and delivers power in a way that suits real roads."
