A look back at where it all began.

This photo, taken in 1962, captures our original Morong Brothers Volkswagen sales building (now known as RSVP) in Portland. It's more than just a building; it's a reminder of the people, values, and dedication that laid the foundation for who we are today.

Heritage means everything to us. We take pride in our roots, not only to honor our past, but to inspire our future. More than 50 years later, that same commitment to exceptional service, lasting relationships, and our community continues to drive us every day.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. Here's to honoring our history while continuing to serve generations to come. 🤗

Some more great news for Atlas and Tiguan models!

Consumer Reports has just recently announced that both models have been named CR Recommended vehicles. This is a huge accolade, as vehicles must meet different criteria to be chosen as recommended vehicles.

“We are thrilled to have the 2026 Atlas and Tiguan recommended by Consumer reports,” said Petar Danilovic, SVP, Product Marketing and Strategy, Volkswagen of America. “Among the accolades we’ve received this year, recognition from Consumer Reports is especially meaningful because it reflects real-world performance and owner experience.”

Just yesterday, Volkswagen hit the 1,000,000 mark for Atlas models produced right here in the US at their Chattanooga plant! (More about that here: https://media.vw.com/releases/1918 )

We thought this was a fitting tribute for Earth Day today, as the Chattanooga plant was designed with the idea to combat environmental impact, and is one of their 56 VW Group factories around the world that specializes in using 100% renewable electricity! (a LOT more about that here: https://www.vw.com/en/newsroom/future-of-mobility/chattanooga-conservation.html )

Another tip of the cap to Volkswagen's focus on Safety! Once again the Atlas family has received the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ honors - this is the third time they have won this award and it is well deserved.
