Getting tired of adding refrigerant to your equipment multiple times a year? I finally got equipped with a Nitrogen leak down kit for R134a systems. Adding dye into a system to find a leak can take time and not be very noticeable if the leak is small. Refrigerant sniffers can be inaccurate and incapable of detecting small leaks. This allows me to charge systems with 260-320 psi of nitrogen and find leaks using methods such as a soapy water solution while monitoring the gauge for pressure drops. Every harvest I deal with a lot of small leaks on farm trucks where this will come in handy!

Also be patient with repair technicians as they do their best to keep all this equipment moving safely and efficiently (and go to football practice and games 😆) Have a safe and bountiful harvest!

With fall harvest just around the corner I am going to be offering a special deal in the month of August.

FREE DOT inspections on your truck/trailers. This includes the time it takes to do the full inspection. This does not guarantee a passed inspection form. Parts and labor will be extra if there are repairs needed. But if your equipment is in tip top shape you will be given signed forms at no cost.

If you are planning on running your semi or any heavy diesel equipment in the next week when temps start to drop I hope you have been treating your fuel properly. It’s not a fun day for you or me when you are gelled up. If you have a modern diesel engine they don’t really like having gasoline in the fuel system for fuel treatment. I know it works great but modern injectors and aftertreatment systems do not like gasoline. Your best bet is to be filled partially or fully with #1 diesel fuel and have your system treated well before hand. #2 is usually treated at the pumps but I would not trust it alone. Or an even safer bet is to leave equipment parked when you’re questioning whether it’s too cold or not. Most often more damage is done by moving equipment than the money made.

Happy New Year! Recently I’ve been reminded that this industry doesn’t stop moving. Not for New Years Eve parties, not for Christmas, and not after the sun goes down. Whether it’s a truck driver from Canada trying to get to Texas to deliver a load, an oil drill rig that runs 24/7 and needs generator repairs after dark, or a feed truck that needs to feed cattle on Christmas morning. It’s a rewarding feeling knowing I’m playing a small part in keeping this country moving. Be safe and enjoy 2024!

I am now offering Donaldson filters. Donaldson offers a wide range of OEM air filters and OEM quality l**e and fuel filters. The filter market is very competitive. Meaning you can always find a cheaper filter somewhere. Donaldson’s main competitor is Cummins owned Fleetgaurd. Both filters are of equal quality in my opinion but when compared, Donaldson on average across the board of filters that I normally sell beats Fleetgaurd’s price. Through my Donaldson account I am able to buy filters at a lower cost than the dealers buy them for. This allows me to give customers a great price point. I am working on building my inventory but most Donaldson filters are available next day when necessary. Plan ahead and let me help you organize filters for your fleet of trucks or any other equipment you may have.

Wheel end work - leaking hub seals & brakes are repairs you should not put off! Clutch/transmission work - don’t disregard an unusual feeling in your clutch pedal, it’s telling you to have it checked out! Stoller Diesel Repair has you covered!
