Mike Parrish!! 🪽🙏
Today, Churchill Auto will be closing early and our hours of opperation will be from **9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.** so our team can attend Mike's service and celebrate the incredible man he was. Thank you for your understanding as we honor our friend and coworker.
I was supposed to make this post on Saturday, but I couldn't find the right words. Then again on Sunday, and I still found myself in disbelief. Here we are on Monday, the day of your service, and I still don't want to accept that you're gone.
There isn't a single man who could come close to your faith, your character, your integrity, your humor, or the way you loved people. Heaven truly gained one of the very best, and I have no doubt you haven't stopped telling your jokes or having conversations with the Lord, Mike.
Mike worked for Churchill Auto for years. He was so proud of his role as our seasoned driver—the one in charge, the only one with his own dealer plate. He might have left a little chocolate in the vehicles he drove, lost his sunglasses, keys, gas card, jacket, or hat along the way (he's saying that's not true right now 😂), or forgotten his leftovers at the car lot that I just happened to eat... but I wouldn't have changed a single bit of it.
He never walked through those doors without greeting you with a hug. He may have gotten five or ten minutes into one of his stories before remembering, but he never forgot that hug.
Mike, you were a man of God, full of life, a proud family man, and a beacon of laughter, hope, and kindness. I miss you so much, my friend.
I know you're home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, but these rooms are going to feel so empty without your laugh and your never-ending jokes. I'm sure you're already coming up with nicknames for everyone up there.
You had special ones for LeAnne and Emerie—Leonard and Henry. 🥹 You always asked how they were doing.
