Leavenworth 2026 - a bit different from years past.

I’ve been taking a variety of different German cars on the annual Leavenworth Drive since 2008. The drive / meet in town is a little different now. Not quite the turn out it used to be, but still so much fun to walk around town and see all of the cool unique things that folks have built.

We hadn’t been on the drive in a few years. But this year felt like a great excuse to clean up the ‘ol Mk2 (Georgie) and take her out to stretch her legs. She’s no show car, but an absolute blast to drive (and lots of fun plans down the road).

If you were there and saw Georgie the Mk2 parked in the lower lot next to some really awesome Audis (B5 S4 wagon, bagged S5, R8 GT) - I hope you grabbed some stickers! If not, we hope to see you there next year.

I had the pleasure of hosting a special visitor in the shop this week.

Tyler and I go way back—all the way to Mustang pee-wee football in 2001.

He’s always had a passion for cars and motorsports, with Porsches holding a special place close to home.

It’s pretty cool how things come full circle—years later, still connected by the same interests, just in a different setting. Grateful for the long-standing friendship and the trust. Thanks for stopping by, Tyler!

Don’t forget about your brakes—and not just the pads and rotors!

Brake fluid is one of the most commonly overlooked services, but it plays a huge role in how your vehicle performs.

Who doesn’t love a nice German SUV?!

I’ve always had a soft spot for the older BMWs, but these newer models are starting to grow on me. Great comfort, solid performance, and a blast to drive.

This X3 M stopped by for some routine service and is all set for many more miles.

Roots matter.

Before the Porsches, before the shop, before 14 years in the industry — there was a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLI.

That car hooked me on German engineering and ultimately led me to a career working on European vehicles every day.

Last summer I found the same year and model and brought it home. Some things just come full circle.

Early 2000s German cars built differently — and they built this business too.
