Since the automatic transmission was a new option on cars, very few automotive and transmission repair shops knew how to repai

r these new transmissions. In response, Russ Fisher decided to become trained in automatic transmission repair and became one of the first shops in the area to provide this new service. Today, the transmission repair center is operated by Peter Fisher. Fisher Auto Transmission has the technicians, technology, and resources to work on cars and light trucks. We can handle all types of vehicles from front-wheel drives and imported cars to 4x4’s. One of our strengths is in our specialized transmission technicians of all ages, with the experience to repair transmissions of all ages. The young men have learned the old transmissions, just as the old men have learned the new. We also have the most complete library of transmission repair from the 1920s and up.
