Just to let you guys know. Get ahold of Travis Rake for a fuel cell option or a SOA conversion for H10 Optic. Both will compliment your build of a S406MB chassis.
Don't forget JE Designs for an awesome rear engine option.

I have had a few guys wonder if the S406MB chassis will work on a Optic, it will. The car is shown with 2.2, 5.25 tires....

I have had a few guys wonder if the S406MB chassis will work on a Optic, it will. The car is shown with 2.2, 5.25 tires. I recommend this set up personally with this wheel base.
There is one mod I recommend, and that is to install the Traxxas long rod ends on the rear only. The wheel base will increase to 13 5/8 inches. 13 1/4 inch without the extended rod ends.
The installation of the Traxxas long rod ends in the rear only, let the rear shocks lay down more to achieve a level ride height.
With out the extended rear wheel base, the rear sits up a little higher than the front, but not real bad to be honest.
You will also need to run a low profile servo. As you can see in the pics, the front drop bar doesn't interfere with the servo. There is always an option to order the S406MB chassis without the drop bar.

Good morning! Things are moving right along on the first round of the S406MB chassis.
Shipment date is projected for September 1rst. Then deposits will be open for round 2 of 5 more chassis on September 1rst.
My second round list is full, PM's will be sent with payment information.
If there is a drop out, or over a 24 hour response time. The next guy on the list from round 3 will be moved up.
Round 2 fabrication will begin September 2nd. It's an average of a 7 day week to fabricate 5 more chassis.
Round 3 deposits will open September 11th. I have one spot open, 4 have already been listed.

:EDIT: Round 3 is full. You can still get on a list for round 4. No deposits will be taken until fabrication is ready to begin and payed for chassis are shipped.
Future dates will be announced.

Here is where I'm at. The new S406MB chassis is taking off with a lot of interest. I have gone through messages and I have 5 guys who are committed already, actually more really.
So, I'm going in order of inquiry and will be sending a DM to the 5 lucky individuals to lock in.
On September 1rst, I will be taking deposits on the S406MB chassis for 5 more. I have at least 2 committed already.
I will be building these chassis 5 at a time.
