Hey folks,
Some of you may know that I have been an Intoxalock dealer. Over the past weekend, Intoxalock experienced a cyber attack. The entire system has been down since some time on Friday. Because of this, the entire system has been inaccessible.
This means a couple of things: One: I can't do anything. If you need a recalibration, it is not available. B: because of this and the lack of communication from the Intoxalock, I am no longer doing business with them. If you need help removing the system with permission from the court, I am happy to restore your vehicle to normal operation. Otherwise, I am no longer available for Intoxalock services. It's been great working with those of you who needed this service. I have made some real friends, and I hope you stay in touch. Let me know if I can help.
I also want to reassure you that I keep your identity private. No one, other than the bad actors who stole your data from the system, will ever know you were working with me.
All the best.
David

Hey all. I got a new phone a few months ago. No matter what I do, I can't get it to log onto facebook or messenger. You can always text me at 2084849165. Now watch me get a swarm of scam calls.

We are under construction. The shop now has a nice legitimate bathroom, and the living room has walls!
Thanks Tim and Bill!

The scams are getting pretty bad. If you get a messenger post saying that Facebook is about to shut down your page, it's a scam.
Frankly, I think Facebook should be better at filtering out these bad actors. It's really not that hard. Be careful. If the message comes with a link, just assume that it's bad.

As many of you know by now, I don't appreciate road closures unless the road is literally broken. Like the roadbed fell into the river or something. We have the right to travel on the roads we pay for. It's up to us to decide whether there is too much snow to continue. For context, when was the last time you actually needed chains on a US highway? Our government is good at keeping major throughways clear. So what if you need a little extra traction to get through? That's your business.
By the way, the supreme court has ruled that the government is not actually responsible for your safety. YOU ARE!!

About armature racing:
I have been racing sports cars most of my life. It's addicting. It's incredibly fun, but be ready. If you try it, you will be hooked.
I belong to a now defunct sport car club who was planning a race event up soldier road. It's sad because the club has been around since the year I was born, but politics killed it. Our event is not going to happen.
Well, now the Tour De Force wants to run an event here. Tour De Force is that group in Sun Valley who races super cars up Galena Summit every year. Think of my club as the sophomores. We race whatever we have that runs. We go maybe 100 up a hill.
Well, Tour De Force is super cars that can go twice that fast. They are the big boys, and they have deep pockets.
They want to put Fairfield on the map with their straight-line timed event this year. I think this will be a fun thing for Fairfield. We have the nice pavement (for whatever reason), and we can host a sports car event. It can be a thing. We have skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking, off road fun, and, now, sports car racing. Think of it.

I might end up with a super cool red sedan. I might be inclined to sell it. Maybe. But I really like this car. Or I might be tempted to keep it and sell the super cool Acura. Just saying, there might be a really nice car for the right owner who wants a cool car. More later.

Hey all. Watch out for scams in notifications. I didn't think facebook would allow this, but I thought I was in facebook trouble. I clicked it. I know, dumb. I did it, and I lost some info. Do not respond to anything in a notification. Facebook failed again.

Hoe Lee Crap. I am the first shop to install a start interrupt device successfully on a brand new hybrid Tacoma. What a nightmare! However, you can trust my new business partner Derek Norsworthy with pretty much anything electronic on your car. Quite honestly, I can't believe it.
