My wife’s 2005 Equinox had a bad vibration while driving at 70 mph. I found that the carrier bearing was faulty. While taking things apart, I realized the vehicle uses CV (Constant Velocity) bearings instead of the usual U-joints. This meant I had to replace the entire driveshaft. CV bearings are used to smoothly transfer power from the engine to the wheels, helping the wheels rotate evenly, even when the vehicle is turning or going over bumps. Essentially, they ensure a smooth ride by maintaining consistent power delivery.

Apologies for the delay in posting, but a little over two months ago, my brother came over to assist with disassembling my 1940s Chevy Pickup, allowing me to continue progress on my rat rod build. 2006 Silverado 1500HD with a 6.0
Complaint: My fuel guage intermittently doesn't work.
Cause: Did my best to verify the complaint but was hard sit was intermittent.. Pulled the box off and fuel pump out to check the sending unit. Found a burnt spot on the fuel pump sending unit wires.
Correction: Replace fuel pump assembly.

About a month or so ago, I bought a 2005 Equinox with a blown head gasket. This vehicle ended up kicking my butt. Before, i even touched it, I noticed that the EGR Valve was cracked. GM decided to upgrade the EGR during this year so I had to get a new tube and pig tail as well. Also GM had to program it to the ECM. As I tore into it, I found that 2 injectors were missing the pintle caps. Also the 02 sensor broke as I was trying to remove it. Now the 02 sensor that I got from the parts store was previously cut by someone else so I has to solder the old connector on. Also the oil dipstick tube broke as I was trying to remove it. After everything was said and done, it had a misfire. I then went back through, did a compression test, and a fuel injector test, and found nothing wrong. I did, however, notice oil on the spark plugs. Knowing that everything checked out fine, I only knew of one culprit...a PCV Valve. One I replaced that, it haven't had a problem with it yet.

Earlier this week, IvyRose's mini 4 Wheeler decided it wasn't going to charge. Instead of throwing it out, I decided to convert it over to a 20V cordless battery system. Now she can still play with up. Us I hope she enjoys the power upgrade.

Lately, I have been trying to do acts of kindness before I get my nonprofit up and running. I've been working with a family who wants to go to Omaha for Christmas so they can see family but their vehicle won't be ready by then. I realize Christmas is a busy time of the year but I'm hoping we can create some Christmas Magic for this family. Thank you!

Earlier this morning, we went to go pick up a 1940's Chevy for a Rat Rod Project. IvyRose had so much fun helping Daddy pull Grandpa in the skidsteer. I hope she grows up to appreciate the old stuff like I do.

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who has supported me over the last few years. I realize it's been difficult going from full time to part time, becoming a father, and handling my crazy work and military schedule. So thank you for understanding.
Secondly, I want to apologize to everyone that I've had to turn business down to due to my hectic schedules. I hope you understand and that you don't forget to keep checking in from time to time.
Lastly, there are going to be some big changes coming our way so stay tuned because I can't wait to show all of you what's in store.
