Operating out of his garage, he knew that Fairbanks needed a better drivelines and repair shop. In the early 1990’s he moved into the location where Young’s Gear currently presides off of Van Horn road. In 2001 Daryl Mcghan started working for Ron Young and by 2010 he bought the business with his wife Joy. At Young’s Gear you’ll always find a familiar face. Most of the employees in the shop or at

the parts counter are long term. Combined the staff and crew have a combined 100 years of experience serving the Interior’s vehicle needs.
