“My Land Rover (Alpha LandRover / Instagram: ) broke down in Fairbanks.

Jack came to my rescue despite him being booked for months. Every workshop was booked for months and no one could take me in.

Jack’s Auto Service squeezed me in and worked on my transfer box, and just when we were done, we saw worse signs of overheating.

Jack even in his tight bookings worked on the cylinder head change and repairs, and even made a brand new clutch line to replace mine that had a leak.

Recently had the pleasure of assisting Kim with his ‘98 Land Rover Defender 2.5L Diesel…after it broke down during his Alaskan adventure…traveling from Kenya! ☀️

Parts had to be ordered from the UK! Kim camped out here for two weeks while we waited for the parts to arrive. ☀️

First…it was a gear and transfer case issue…stripped input shaft splines. Then…once we were on top of that…had to get the cooling system repaired and dialed in. Blown head gasket and warped cylinder. ☀️

Got Kim’s rig all fixed up for him…and sent him back on his way! ☀️
