This truck was brought to another "shop" for injectors and headgaskets last winter. They put the injectors in but decided the headgaskets were too much work. Truck ran like s**t after, customer has had it parked all summer.

Pulled the injectors to find all the nozzles covered in rust ( so much for those new cups 🫣) . Back to dansdieselperformance they go for testing and repair before we reinstall them, along with new Fleece Performance Engineering cylinder heads, new Fleece cheetah 63mm turbo and some ARP 625 head studs.

Killer grid heater nut was ready to drop on this 2017 Cummins!

Customer recently purchased this truck, and brought it straight to us for some needed maintenance and to do a BD killer grid heater kit on it. He did not know how close he was to certain doom however!

Customer had his intake tube collapse last week on him ( see the recent post about cheap air filters ) and while he waited for a new S&B Filters intake to show up he got creative and glued a couple of fiberglass rods to the tube creating a spine to avoid it collapsing again on him.

MacGyver would be proud!
