If you’ve ever dragged a salvage yard LS engine home for your C10 or OBS project, you know that moment of truth: the factory accessory drive is either missing, beat to death, or just plain ugly.

Instead of piecing together brackets from everywhere and making three trips to the auto parts counter, we put together the ultimate "easy button" for your engine bay—the K10741 High and Tight Master Kit.

Read the full blog post to see what's inside:
https://www.kwikperf.com/blogs/news/the-ultimate-c10-obs-front-drive-solution

Here’s what you'll find in the post:

Everything in One Box: Why we bundled the Sanden Mini AC compressor, high-output alternator, matched power steering pump, AND brackets into one part number.

The Belt Included! How we took the guesswork out of finding the right serpentine belt length.

Frame & Steering Clearance: How the "High & Tight" layout keeps your accessories tucked safely away from frame rails and steering gear.

Fitment & Spacing: Why this setup is dialed in specifically for truck balancer spacing (standard LS truck engines and 2010–15 LS3 Camaros).

Don't spend your weekend wrestling mismatched bracket setups. Check out the breakdown, grab the Master Kit, and let’s get that truck out of the garage and on the road!

Nothing beats a clean, matching look in your C10 or OBS truck's engine bay. That's why we put together this High and Tight Serpentine Package.

We’ve all seen that guy at Cars & Coffee with his hood popped, bragging that his truck is "one of only 342 built on a rainy Tuesday in April with this exact cigarette lighter option."

Hey, no shade. We love the passion. But when it comes to the legendary Chevy C10, chasing true "rarity" is a bit like hunting for Bigfoot.

I fell down a rabbit hole looking into production numbers, and between the Action Line era and the 10+ million Square Bodies built, Detroit rolled out millions of these trucks. But here’s the kicker: that high volume is actually the best news possible for us hot rodders.

In our latest post, we're diving into the production history and sharing how we're building our own 1981 C10 test mule, "Patches."

We usually talk about how our Kwik Performance brackets and serpentine kits are built for driveway wrenches, weekend cruisers, and budget swaps. But every now and then, a build comes along that proves our gear is just as at home on high-end showstoppers.

Case in point: "Brown Shuga," a jaw-dropping 1971 Chevy C10 built by our Missouri neighbor Ryan "Ryno" Lieberman. The crazy part? In 2018, this truck was a $200 derelict farm truck listed on Facebook—one night away from heading straight to the crusher!

Fast forward through SEMA center-stage appearances and a feature in Classic Truck Performance, and this beauty recently crossed the Mecum auction block in Monterey... fetching a whopping $126,500!

Check out the full story behind this $200-to-$125K transformation here:

Whether you're building a reliable daily driver or a show-winning restomod, we love seeing what you guys pull off with our gear! Take a quick read, check out the build photos, and drop a comment to let us know what you're working on in your shop.

"Brown Shuga" was built by custom builder Ryan Lieberman of Ryno Built Rod & Custom, based in Missouri and it utilized a Kwik Performance Serpentine System!

If you're driving an '88 to '95 Chevy or GMC truck, you already know the pain of the factory GM R4 compressor. That round "pancake" unit is famous for weeping refrigerant, leaking around the case seals, and failing way sooner than it should.

For years, we've made the bracket to bolt a modern, efficient Sanden Mini (SD7B10) right where that clunky R4 sat. But the #1 question we always got was: "Okay, I’ve got the compressor mounted... now how the heck do I hook up the hoses?"

We finally put an end to the hose-hunting nightmare by bundling the CNC bracket, genuine Sanden Mini compressor, new accumulator/drier, trinary switch, AND year-specific pre-crimped AC hoses into one complete conversion package!

Check out the full conversion guide here:

Here’s what we cover in the blog:

Why the Sanden Mini Rules: It’s lighter, pulls less drag on your engine, and easily keeps an OBS cab ice-cold.

No Custom Crimping Needed: We pair the Sanden compressor's threaded O-ring fittings to your factory condenser and evaporator without a trip to a custom shop.

Decoding the Year Ranges: Breakdowns on K10762 ('88–'90), K10763 ('90–'93), and K10764 ('94–'95) so you get the exact SAE or metric fittings your truck needs.

Stop fighting leaky almost-40-year-old compressor tech! Give the post a read, find your year's kit, and let's get that truck blowing freeze-your-knuckles cold again.

Easily convert your OBS from a leaky R4 compressor to a Sanden Mini with our complete conversion package. No more hunting down a shop to crimp custom lines.

You’ve bolted on your clean new Kwik serpentine system and hooked up one of our custom, bolt-on AC hose kits. The hard part is done! But now you're looking at a bone-dry system and wondering: How do I actually get this thing blowing ice-cold air?

We get hit with the same questions all the time: "Do Sanden compressors come pre-oiled?" "How much PAG oil does my new accumulator need?" "How many cans of R134a do I dump in?"

Before you accidentally wash out your new compressor or overcharge the lines, we put together a foolproof DIY guide to help you finish the job right.

Check out the ultimate AC Installer’s Guide here:

Inside, we’re breaking down the exact math:

The Compressor Question: Why your new Sanden compressor is already good to go, but the rest of your new parts still need oil.

The PAG Oil Blueprint: Exact ounce breakdowns for your new condenser, accumulator/drier, and hoses (Plus, why you need PAG 46).

When to Add It: Why oil goes in before you pull a vacuum, not after.

Refrigerant Rule of Thumb: How much R134a a standard truck versus a Suburban with rear AC actually holds, and the "80% rule" to keep from blowing a seal.

Don't guess on your AC and end up sweating through the summer. Take a minute to read through the tech tips, grab your gauges, and let's get that cabin freezing!

When doing a DIY install of new AC components into your Chevy OBS truck, you'll need to add PAG oil and R134 refrigerant. Here's the proper steps.

High & Tight Style: Tucks everything up nicely to clear your frame rails and steering gear, making plumbing a Saturday morning breeze.

CNC Machined: Made right here in the USA from 6061-T6 aluminum so it looks like jewelry under your hood.

Stop overcomplicating your front accessory drive. Give the blog a read, hit the easy button, and let’s get that truck back out on the pavement!
