Hello everyone it's Bobbi. This post should've been made sooner but I found it hard to find the right words. The thing I enjoy most about tractor pulling (from the very first pull I went to) was the people. Jim & Randy Trainer we very nice from the first hello & never made me feel like any of the million questions I had were stupid & tried to explain things to me. The whole Trainer family are genuinely wonderful people. Jim seemed to enjoy tractor pulling so much & more importantly doing it with his family. I always got so tickled at how happy Jim would get if he pulled better than Randy. He told me several times that he wasn't as worried about beating everyone as long as he managed to pull farther than Randy did lol. He was always happy to help out where he could at every pull, or it seemed anywhere he could. I (as many were) was sad when he couldn't pull anymore, but we enjoyed seeing him at the banquet when he could make it. It's with a very heavy heart that I share the news this wonderful man passed away on February 28th. Service information is shared below for anyone interested. Again sorry for the late post I struggled with how to word this one. Our thoughts are with Pat, Randy, & all of the family as they move forward. This picture is still one of my favorite pictures.
