15 ft aluminum boat with a 1993 25 hp Mercury

This was a job I just finished up. This vessel hasn't been run or seen the water for the last 20 years. It's been sitting on a trailer stored till now! What a wonderful family to work for, they were so kind and genuine. They even invited me into their home just to talk. The project went great, they weren't sure if they wanted to keep it, so we did minimal work just enough to hit the water. The carb needed cleaned with a new carb kit, new fuel tank, lines, filter, bilge pump and plumbing. The electrical was addressed and buttoned up, safe but not all new, just enough work to hit the water for a summer. It did 18 mph and ran beautifully after 20 years. Hope they decide to restore it all the way so I can help and meet them again.

This is a 1962 31 ft Bertram with two Volvo Penta 1993 diesel powered motors. Been through a lot with this project, starting over a year ago when the port motor needed to be rebuilt. Most recently it blew a shaft seal and It took on 8,000 to 10,000 gallons of water. After pulling the boat out and installing new shaft seals, replacing batteries, bilge pumps, rewiring 50% of the boat and pulling 70 gallons of water out of the fuel tank, rebuilding fuel system and starters due to phantom start from water/ corrosion damage and replacing all fluids, she was ready! Even after all these years that are on this vessel going through whatever it's gone through and sinking, she runs and rides better than ever! Very proud of this project and what a hell of a machine.

Picked this boat up in Portland for $500
Her name is Judith. She's a 16 ft Larson powered with an 85 hp Force and a 2.5 hp mariner kicker.
The force is apparently one of the worst motors ever made but for some coinky dink this is the best running vessel I've ever owned/ been on! After keeping up with routine maintenance and resealing damage in the fiberglass along with the main floor and new carpet, Judith ran beautifully for several years with over 700 miles on the water while I owned her. She had no mechanical failures whatsoever. Sold her to a wonderful family some months back and continues to run with no failures. As far as I'm concerned, that's unheard of! What a kick ass boat with the worst motor ever made, live strong Judith!

Hello! My name is Karrick and this is Kenji! Together we make up Kenji Marine repair and maintenance. With much discussion, we decided to buy a really badass camper too big for our truck 😂 and then went all in. We are now traveling Marine technicians with over 10 years experience in marine repair. 16 years if you include the both of us😊. I'm a fourth season seasonal Alaskan diesel/hydraulic technician and deckhand. I'm also a certified motorcycle/ small engine/ hydraulic/ diesel fuel systems/ 12 volt electric technician. I've lived on the water all my life, and grew up on a small island. The only way to commute and get groceries was by boat. I've gone through about every mechanical failure you can imagine and all the fun stories that come with. Seen it all from sinking or being on fire or running aground. I have even been detained for breaking down in the middle of the night and drifting on to a nuclear naval base we just didn't know was there with a whole bunch of dive gear! This is a true story and it took hours for us to be released back to our broken vessel! I've been through it all, I know how to fix it all and the signs to look for to keep you out of harm's way. If you're looking for a traveling boat technician and you like dogs we are the mechanics for you!
