HAP is looking for an Automotive Shop Assistant. This person is responsible for performing a variety of basic & technical tasks to help with shop operation.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean/organize shop
- Shop maintenance including cleaning floors, trash removal, etc.
- Shop organization including equipment, tools, supplies and parts
- Maintaining shop inventory & replenishing as needed
- Run errands such as parts and/or tool pickup
- Transporting customers and/or vehicles
- Clean & maintain property (inside & outside)
- Clean customer and shop vehicles
- Assist technicians with heavy line repairs
- Move vehicles in, out and around the shop
- Serve as additional support to front office, when needed
- Other duties as required

Job Requirements
- Good driving record
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow verbal & written instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50+ pounds
- Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, and squat.
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time with hands above the head.
- Willing to work in varying weather conditions
- Willing to work in a loud working environment
Time Commitment
- Full Time – 40 hours/week. Would consider part time for the right candidate.
- Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (no weekends)
