I'd like to address something!
(Just in general)
💦 WHY DOES PROFESSIONAL DETAILING COST MORE THAN A CAR WASH?
A lot of people wonder why a professional detail costs more than a $15–$30 car wash or a basic wash package. And honestly, I completely understand the question.
A car wash and a professional detail are two completely different services.
A basic car wash is designed to get your vehicle clean quickly. A professional detail is much more involved. Depending on the service, we're spending several hours working on your vehicle, cleaning areas that a typical car wash simply doesn't have the time or equipment to address.
That includes things like:
Deep interior cleaning
Carpets, seats, mats & hard-to-reach areas Vents, cracks, crevices & trim
Wheels, tires & wheel wells
Hand washing & careful drying
Paint decontamination & clay bar treatment
Waxes & paint sealants
paint correction
Professional equipment & products
And most importantly TIME and attention to detail
You're not just paying for soap and water.
You're paying for the hours of labor, professional equipment, quality chemicals and products, experience, and the care that goes into making your vehicle look its best.
AND ABOUT MY PRICING...
I also want to be upfront about something.
My prices are intentionally reasonable.
If you compare my services with what many local professional detail shops charge, you'll often find that Alvey's Detailing is priced lower.
That's intentional.
I'm building my business and my reputation, but I also understand that not everyone can afford to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on their vehicle.
My goal is to provide professional and quality work without putting unnecessary stress on your wallet.
At the same time, I have to charge a price that makes sense for the amount of time, labor, products, equipment and effort that goes into every vehicle.
I'm not trying to be the cheapest detailer around.
I'm trying to give you a price that makes sense for both of us.
You get quality work at a fair price, and I get to continue building a business that I can be proud of.
A car wash cleans your vehicle.
A detail takes care of it.
Alvey's Detailing
Quality Work. Fair Prices. Attention to Detail.
