A couple years ago, we installed this JL Audio marine system and it’s still doing exactly what it was built to do. 🔊🌊 That’s one of the things we love about the brands we choose at Evolution Garage.

We’re not interested in throwing a bunch of equipment in and calling it a day. We want to build systems that sound incredible and hold up.

A few years later, this one is still making waves. 🤘

Exciting news! 🇺🇸🍀 🛠️ 💵

Shamrock Animal Hospital is a well renowned local business right down the road from us and a special part of the community, and we’re incredibly proud to be a Founding Partner of the Shamrock $2 Challenge!

When we heard about the opportunity to help keep $2 bills circulating right here in our community, we knew we wanted to be part of it. There’s something special about taking something as unique as $2 and using it to support local businesses, locals, and our community.

Have you ever really looked at a $2 bill?

It’s pretty amazing. 🇺🇸 It showcases such an important piece of American history, featuring the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

You ask “Why do local businesses matter?” Because when we support local, we invest in the community we call home.

Here’s how big works:
💵 You spend $2 locally.
➡️ Someone else receives it.
💵 They spend it locally.
➡️ And that same $2 continues moving through our community.

And we can’t wait to get our customers involved, too! We’ll be exchanging $2 with our customers so they can join the challenge, and we’ll be taking those same $2 bills out into our community and using them at other local businesses.

A couple changes made a big difference on this Boss 302 🏁🐍

We installed the new drag wing to give the rear of the car a much more aggressive look, but we also took care of something you won’t notice from the outside.

The nitrous wiring and controls in the center console needed some attention, so instead of leaving everything loose, we designed and 3D printed a custom bracket to clean it all up and give everything a proper home.

What’s next for this Boss? 👀

Same platform. Two completely different personalities. 👀

We’ve got a little Bronco takeover happening at Evolution Garage one built to look like it just escaped Jurassic World, and the other keeping things clean and understated.

Both are in for some audio work, because no matter which direction you take the build, the sound should match the experience.

We knew almost immediately which subwoofer belonged in this Type R.

A lot of time and attention has gone into keeping the factory yellow theme flowing throughout this car, so when it came time to add some bass, we wanted the equipment to feel like it belonged there not like something we just added afterward.

The Focal K2 was an easy choice. The signature yellow cone tied perfectly into everything already happening inside the car, and more importantly, it gave us the performance we wanted without having to sacrifice the hatch.

We built a completely hidden enclosure, treated the area with Blackhole sound deadening, and kept everything clean, functional and true to the car.

That’s what we love about builds like this. It’s not just about choosing good equipment it’s choosing the right equipment for the car.

And we’re definitely not done with this Type R yet. 👀
