Sometimes if you ask nicely, Ill Rig something up under the conditions you understand that its not the proper fix. Plastic clip to hold shifter cable in place, disintergrated and not available unless entire shifter cable is purchased. Here is my idea. It probably stronger that the original design. Who knows time will tell.
