His Grandfathers car

Congratulations goes out to Travis Barker for owing this wonderful 1966 Mustang Fastback. It is such a great car, and is Septembers Mustang of the Month.
Wayne Mcentire, Travis’ grandfather, was a car collector along with his great uncle Travis – they restored cars and had a warehouse and shop with nearly 20 – 30 cars. Collectibles such as a 1970 Shelby GT 500, Buick Stage 1 with a 455, 1970 Stingray, and a black fastback mustang. Sadly, Travis’ grandfather passed away last year and Travis inherited the Mustang.
Travis and his wife Chloe, moved to Dallas 9 years ago and live down on the M streets. He works in the family software business that develops solutions for the food processing and industrial sector. Growing up in Amarillo, he and his wife went to Texas Tech and have known each other since high school.
The mustang is really a looker… Raven black exterior and a black interior, Style steel wheels, new front disc brakes, new Borgeson power steering, fuel tank, and front suspension ensures the mustang drives and handles very well! It’s clear his grandfather knew his way around cars and Travis plans on enjoying it for many years to come. Travis has 2 brothers and his younger brother picked up a 1970 Corvette Stingray.
Travis has very fond memories of Grandpa picking up kids from elementary and middle school in the mustang fastback. That sure is a great memory!
Outside of work and enjoying the mustang, Travis plays golf and travels with his wife. Next month they have plans to attend the Formula 1 race in Madrid and then will settle in to welcome their new baby due in January. Congratulations again Travis, your 1966 Mustang Fastback is beautiful!
