FIRST FROST. DEAD BATTERY? 🔋
Your car may have cranked just fine all summer, but that doesn’t mean the battery is healthy.
Missouri summer heat can damage a battery’s internal plates and shorten its life. The first cold morning usually doesn’t create the problem; it exposes it. Cold temperatures demand more power from a battery that may already be worn out.
Watch for these warning signs:
• Slow or sluggish cranking
• Clicking when you turn the key
• Headlights dimming while the engine turns over
• Lights that look dim at idle
Before you get stranded in the Ozarks, stop in for a quick, free battery test. We’ll tell you honestly if your battery is still good. If it is, we’ll say so, no pressure to buy something you don’t need.
Serving Eugene, Lake Ozark, and Jefferson City.
