Heavy-Duty Tow Near Santiam Junction

This 30–35K boom truck experienced braking issues and required transport. Our team responded and safely transported the vehicle.

Braking issues can have a variety of causes. One potential issue heavy vehicles may experience is brake fade, which can occur when braking systems become overheated and lose effectiveness.

Mountain driving can place tremendous stress on braking systems, especially in heavy vehicles. Regular inspections, proper maintenance, and appropriate gear management are important for anyone traveling Oregon’s mountain corridors.

Meet Eric, our General Manager here at Alpha Towing.

For the past 2 years, Eric has been keeping things running smoothly, handling everything from office work to jumping in on recoveries out on the interstate. Wherever he’s needed, he’s there.

What he enjoys most? The unknown. No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly what keeps the job exciting.

When he’s not at work, you’ll find him spending time with his family or out riding and racing his dirt bike.
