Family-owned auto repair shop seeking service writer. The position will support three technicians. Monday-Friday, no weekends, or holidays. 2 weeks paid vacation every year. Pay based on experience. Shop located in Licking County.
Responsibilities Include:
• Interacting with customers, listening to their questions and concerns, and providing timely responses.
• Developing cost estimates.
• Scheduling appointments, monitoring service progress, calculating charges and processing payments.
• Serve as a link between customers and automotive technicians.
• Verifying warranty coverage, developing estimates, writing repair orders, and maintaining customer rapport and records.
Qualifications/Skills:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2-plus years of experience in a service advisor role strongly preferred
• Computer and point-of-sale proficiency
• Customer Service experience
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Previous customer service experience
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
